THREE YEARS LATER

The Right to Return Must Remain on the International Agenda

Three years ago, the Armenian population of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) was displaced from its centuries-old homeland amid profound human rights and humanitarian concerns.

Today, the question of their future remains unresolved.

The right to safe, dignified and collective return must remain at the center of the international human rights discussion. The conditions necessary for such a return—including security, protection of fundamental rights, property rights, and preservation of cultural heritage—must be addressed and upheld by the international community.
