Glorious Commemoration of the 115th Anniversary of the ARS
ՓԱՌԱՇՈՒՔ ՈԳԵԿՈՉՈՒՄ՝ ՀՕՄԻ 115 ԱՄԵԱԿԻՆ
Հայ Օգնութեան Միութեան հիմնադրութեան 115 ամեակի ոգեկոչումը՝ Երեւանի մէջ, վերահաստատեց մեր կազմակերպութեան մարդասիրական եւ ազգային առաքելութեան շարունակութեան հրամայականը։
Ոգեկոչման ձեռնարկներու եւ հանդիսութեան իրենց մասնակցութիւնը բերին Կեդրոնական վարչութիւնը, Կեդրոնական գրասենեակը, տարբեր երկիրներէ Երեւան ժամանած մեծ թիւով ՀՕՄականներ, հիւրեր եւ բարեկամներ։
Առաջին հերթին, Երեքշաբթի, 14 Հոկտեմբերին Կեդրոնական վարչութիւնը գումարեց իր լիագումարը։
Յաջորդ օրը՝ Չորեքշաբթի, 15 Հոկտեմբերին ՀՕՄի կեդրոնին Կարօ եւ Ալիս Կիւրեղեան սրահին մէջ բացումը կատարուեցաւ կազմակերպութեան հիմնադիր Էդուարդ Ակնունիի կիսանդրիին, որ եղաւ լաւ առիթ մը, որպէսզի լուսարձակի տակ բերուի Ակնունիի կատարած մեծ իրագործման մարդկային եւ ազգային տարողութիւնը։ ՀՕՄի Կեդրոնական վարչութիւնը նաեւ այցելութիւն մը տուաւ ՀՅԴ Բիւրոյին։
Հինգշաբթի, 16 Հոկտեմբերին տրուեցաւ այցելութիւն ՀՕՄի Մօր ու Մանկան ծննդատուն, ուր ՀՕՄականները ականատես եղան կեդրոնին գործունէութեան եւ մամոկրաֆիայի նոր սարքին։ Երկրորդ հանգրուանը եղաւ Շիրակի մարզի Ախուրեան համայնքի ՀՕՄի Հեքիաթ մանկապարտէզը, ուր շուրջ 250 ՀՕՄականներ ողջունեցին մանկապարտէզին սաները՝ իրենց ուրախութիւնը եւ գոհունակութիւնը յայտնելով։
Նոյն օրը Ախուրեան համայնքի Բենիամին բնակավայրին մէջ մեծ շուքով կատարուեցաւ ՀՕՄի «Յոյսի Օճախներ» ծրագրին բնակարանամուտին հանդիսաւոր արարողութիւնը։ «Յոյսի Օճախներ»ը մեր կազմակերպութեան կարեւոր ծրագիրներէն մին է, որուն նպատակն է հայրենազուրկ արցախահայ ընտանիքները երդիքով մը ապահովել։ Այս առիթով՝ Կեդրոնական վարչութիւնը անգամ մը եւս շնորհակալութիւն եւ երախտագիտութիւն կը յայտնէ բոլոր նուիրատուներուն եւ կամաւորներուն, առանց որոնց զօրակցութեան եւաշխատանքին, անկարելի պիտի ըլլար այս ծրագիրը յաջողութեամբ պսակել։
Ուրբաթ, 17 Հոկտեմբերին Կոմիտաս Թանգարանի մէջ կայացաւ ՀՕՄի խորհրդաժողովը, որուն ընթացքին հինգ զեկուցաբերներ հանգամանօրէն լուսարձակի տակ առին ՀՕՄի ընդհանուր գործունէութեան ծիրին մէջ ինկող թեմաներ, ինչպէս նաեւ հայ կնոջ եւ Արցախահայութեան իրավիճակին կապուած հարցեր, խնդիրներ եւ մարտահրաւէրներ։
Շաբաթ, 18 Հոկտեմբերին կայացաւ 115 ամեակի կալա ընթրիքը՝ աւելի քան 400 ներկաներով։
Կիրակի, 19 Հոկտեմբերին Երեւանի Յակոբ Պարոնեանի անուան երաժշտական գոմետիայի թատրոնին մէջ մեծ շուքով նշուեցաւ ՀՕՄի 115 ամեակը՝ պաշտօնական հանդիսութեամբ մը, որուն ընթացքին արտասանուած խօսքերուն մէջ շեշտուեցաւ մեր կազմակերպութեան համահայկական առաքելութեան կարեւորութիւնը։ Հանդիսութեան ընթացքին պարգեւատրուեցան ընկերուհիներ՝ Յասմիկ Տէրտէրեան, Անժել Մանուկեան եւ Շաքէ Պասմաճեան, ինչպէս նաեւ ՀՕՄի «Արարատ» մրցանակը յանձնուեցաւ «Ազնաւուր» հիմնարկին։
Երկուշաբթի, 20 Հոկտեմբերը յատկանշուեցաւ Լոռիի մարզ այցելութեամբ, որուն ընթացքին ՀՕՄականները անմոռանալի պահեր ապրեցան Հաղբատ եւ Սանահին վանքերուն մէջ։ Նոյն օրը Կեդրոնական վարչութիւնը հանդիպումներ ունեցաւ Վանաձորի, Սպիտակի եւ Ստեփանաւանի մասնաճիւղերուն հետ։
Երեքշաբթի, 21 Հոկտեմբերը յատուկ նշանակութիւն ունեցաւ՝ Եռաբլուր այցելութեամբ։ Առաջին հերթին մատուռին մէջ կատարուեցաւ հոգեհանգստեան պաշտօն՝ ննջեցեալ ՀՕՄականներուն հոգիին համար։ Ապա մասնակիցները այցելեցին Անյայտ Հերոսներու Յուշարձան, Արցախի Կանչը յուշահամալիր եւ Սօսէ Մայրիկի շիրիմը, ուր ծաղկեպսակներ զետեղուեցան։ Այնուհետեւ ՀՕՄականներ այցելեցին յանուն հայրենիքի իրենց կեանքը զոհաբերած հերոսներուն շիրիմները՝ յարգանքի տուրք մատուցելով մեր նահատակներուն յիշատակին։
Նոյն օրը Կեդրոնական վարչութիւնը այցելութիւն մը տուաւ Արցախի թեմի առաջնորդ Վրթանէս եպիսկոպոս Աբրահամեանին, որ իր գնահատանքը արձանագրեց ՀՕՄի ծաւալած ազգանուէր գործունէութեան եւ շնորհակալութիւն յայտնեց Արցախին եւ արցախահայութեան ցուցաբերուած յատուկ հոգածութեան համար։
Չորեքշաբթի, 22 Հոկտեմբերին այցելութիւն տրուեցաւ Սեւանայ լիճին եկեղեցիներուն, ինչպէս նաեւ հանդիպում կայացաւ ՀՕՄի Գաւառի, Սեւանի, Ճամբարակի եւ Վարդենիսի մասնաճիւղերուն հետ։
Հինգշաբթի 23 Հոկտեմբերին, ՀՕՄի Կեդրոնական վարչութիւնը եւ գրասենեակի անձնակազմը այցելութիւն մը տուին Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածին, ուր ընդունուեցան Մայր Աթոռի Արտաքին յարաբերութիւններու եւ արարողակարգի բաժնի տնօրէն Նաթան արքեպիսկոպոս Յովհաննիսեանի կողմէ։ Սրբազան հայրը ՀՕՄականներուն փոխանցեց Գարեգին Բ. Ամենայն հայոց կաթողիկոսին օրհնութիւնը եւ գնահատանքը։ Սրբազան հայրը ընդգծեց ՀՕՄի մարդասիրական եւ ազգային բեղուն գործունէութիւնը՝ վստահութիւն յայտնելով, որ կազմակերպութիւնը նոյն թափով եւ ոգիով պիտի շարունակէ իր առաքելութիւնը։
Ուրբաթ, 24 Հոկտեմբերին կայացաւ Լաւագոյն Ուսանող ծրագրի հարիւր ուսանողներու՝ Հայաստանէն, Արցախէն եւ Ջաւախքէն, դրամական պարգեւներու բաշխման ձեռնարկը, որուն ընթացքին շեշտուեցաւ հայ ուսանողին նեցուկ կանգնելու Հայ Օգնութեան Միութեան յանձնառութիւնը։
Հայ Օգնութեան Միութեան հիմնադրութեան 115 ամեակի ոգեկոչումը՝ Երեւանի մէջ, եղաւ պատեհ առիթ մը, վերանորոգելու մեր ուխտը, վերահաստատելու մեր յանձնառութիւնը, թէ Հայ Օգնութեան Միութիւնը անխափան պիտի շարունակէ իր երթը՝ հաւատարիմ մնալով իր առաքելութեան եւ ժողովուրդիս հետ, Ժողովուրդիս Համար նշանաբանին։

Glorious Commemoration of the 115th Anniversary of the ARS
The commemoration of the 115th anniversary of the founding of the Armenian Relief Society, held in Yerevan, reaffirmed the imperative of continuing our organization’s humanitarian and national mission.
The Central Executive Board, the Central Office, and a large number of ARS members, guests, and friends from various countries participated in the commemorative events and ceremonies.
The ARS CEB convened its Plenary meeting on Tuesday, October 14.
The next day, Wednesday, October 15, at the Garo and Alice Gureghian Hall of ARS Armenia center, the statue of the organization’s founder, Edward Agnouni, was unveiled — an excellent opportunity to highlight the human and national depth of Agnouni’s outstanding accomplishments. On the same day, the ARS CEB visited the ARF Bureau.
On Thursday, October 16, a visit was made to the ARS Mother and Child Health and Birthing Center, where members witnessed the center’s activities and its new mammography equipment. The second stop was at the ARS “Hekiat” Kindergarten in the Akhurian community of the Shirak region, where around 250 ARS members were warmly welcomed by the children, expressing their joy and gratitude.
That same day, in the village of Beniamin, also in the Akhurian community, the official opening ceremony of the “Hearths of Hope” program took place with great solemnity. The “Hearths of Hope” program is one of the most important initiatives of our organization, aiming to provide housing to Artsakh Armenian families who have lost their homeland. On this occasion, the ARS CEB once again expresses its profound gratitude and appreciation to all donors and volunteers — without whose support and dedication, the success of this project would not have been possible.
On Friday, October 17, a conference organized by the ARS was held at the Komitas Museum in Yerevan. During the event, five speakers presented in-depth discussions on topics relevant to the ARS’s activities, as well as issues, challenges, and problems faced by Armenian women and the people of Artsakh.
A gala dinner was held on Saturday, October 18to celebrate the 115th anniversary, attended by more than 400 guests.
A grand ceremony took place on Sunday, October 19th, to celebrate the 115th anniversary of the Armenian Relief Society (ARS) at the Hakob Paronyan Musical Comedy Theater in Yerevan. During the speeches, the significance of our organization’s pan-Armenian mission was highlighted. The event honored ARS members Ungh. Hasmik Derderian, Ungh. Angele Manoogian and Ungh. Shakeh Basmadjian, and the ARS “Ararat” Award was presented to the Aznavour Foundation.
On Monday, October 20, a visit to the Lori region took place, during which ARS members experienced unforgettable moments at the Haghpat and Sanahin monasteries. That same day, the Central Executive Board met with the ARS chapters of Vanadzor, Spitak, and Stepanavan.
Tuesday, October 21, held special significance with a visit to Yeraplour. The day began with a Hokehankisd service in the chapel for the souls of deceased ARS members. Then, participants visited the Monument to the Unknown Heroes, the Artsakh’s Call memorial, and Sose Mayrig’s grave, where wreaths were laid. ARS members then visited the graves of heroes who sacrificed their lives for the homeland, paying tribute to their memory.
That same day, the Central Executive Board paid a visit to Bishop Vrtanes Aprahamian, Prelate of the Artsakh Diocese, who expressed his appreciation for the Armenian Relief Society’s dedicated national service and extended his gratitude for the special care shown toward Artsakh and its people.
On Wednesday, October 22, visits were made to the churches of Lake Sevan and meetings were held with the ARS chapters of Gavar, Sevan, Jambarak, and Vartenis.
On Thursday, October 23, the members of ARS CEB and the Office staff paid a visit to the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, where they were received by Archbishop Nathan Hovhannisian, Director of the Department of External Relations and Protocol of the Mother See. His Eminence conveyed the blessings and appreciation of His Holiness Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians. The Archbishop emphasized the Armenian Relief Society’s fruitful humanitarian and national work, expressing confidence that the organization will continue its mission with the same vigor and spirit.
The following day, Friday, October 24, a ceremony was held to present the “Best Student” program awards to 100 students from Armenia, Artsakh, and Javakhk participating in the program. During the event, the commitment of the Armenian Relief Society to supporting Armenian students was emphasized.
The commemoration of the 115th anniversary of the founding of the Armenian Relief Society in Yerevan was a fitting occasion to renew our pledge and reaffirm our commitment that the Armenian Relief Society will continue its journey unwaveringly, remaining faithful to its mission and motto: “With the People, For the People.”
